Next, I dreamed up some new DIY updating ideas that I wanted to try in our bedroom and bathroom. Here are the before and after pictures of what I did.

Before (notice the nightstands: inherited from Michael's childhood room) |

Refinished mirror above bed, lamps, and full length mirror from Homegoods, nightstands and ottomans from Ikea |
I then decided that the mirror that was once located above the fireplace needed an update and new home above our dresser. I refinished the mirror in blue with a gray glaze finish.
Oh this chair! First of all, as many of you know, I am not a huge fan of antique furniture or floral print but it was given to us by a dear family member so I just couldn't part with it. Here is what it looked like before...
A little paint, white satin fabric, and silver nailhead trim gave this chair a complete revival!

This chair is currently placed in our bathroom as a temporary fix while I am bed resting (hatching) our second child. |
Lastly, I found it mirror on clearance at Homegoods and again couldn't pass it up.
A little metallic paint transformed this mirror into something perfect for our bathroom!
Now onto my current projects!
